Kay Joan Johnson was born in Minneapolis, MN and attended Patrick Henry High School. She was happily married to Joseph Bernard Vadman, Sr. on May 3, 1952 at Ascension Catholic Church by Fr. Bonin. Joseph and Kay shared over 63 years in love.
Kay’s career spanned over 45 years providing childcare out of her home, not to mention her devoted attention to the partnership she shared with Joseph for the years of involvement they had in the Minneapolis Star 400 Action Travel Club.
She was a very proud, hard-working mother to everyone she met. She loved time with her grandchildren as much as her own children. Canning, pickling, cooking, baking, and holiday entertaining were a never-ending chore that became a passion for her. She loved to have coffee and cookies ready all the time to treat people.
As a family we “Thank You”, St. Therese staff, for all that you have done to care for both of our parents. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
