With rising rents and limited housing availability, more of us in Minneapolis are struggling to find and afford safe housing. We all feel the burden of higher costs of living. We recognize how increased housing costs have an outsized impact on renters with lower incomes, often communities of color. Rents have risen nearly 17% since last year. Now is the time to raise our voices in support of more funding for affordable housing and rental assistance so that fewer families have to choose between rent and food, or risk becoming homeless. Join us for this important event to learn more about what can be done – and how you can most effectively show your support. We need a city built for all of us!
