Residents of Emerson Village, the housing complex just up the street from Ascension, are in great need. They can first and foremost use our prayers!
Secondly, the staff at Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative has an ongoing donation drive for items the families need. “Right now, Emerson Village needs all the donations we can collect,” according to Mohamed Jama, Congregational Organizer. “Every contribution makes a huge difference.”
Can we join together to cover two needs:
• 22 sets of two bath towels (new)
• 30 boxes of 13 gallon, unscented kitchen trash bags.
If you would like to help, please purchase these items and bring them to the back of church. We will deliver them to Emerson Village as a gift from Ascension parishioners.
