She got to experience a powerful conversation between Rev. Jim Bear Jacobs\, co-director for Racial Justice at the Minnesota Council of Churches\, and Dr. Yohuru Williams\, Founding Director of the Racial Justice Initiative at the University of St. Thomas\, at the recent Coming to the Table conference in St. Paul. \nIn this conversation\, they discus what they’ve learned from each other over the five years that they have been working together — such as finding out how their ancestors’ histories are intertwined\, literally in the same place on the same sorrowful day.  Come to the lower level of the church after either mass on Sunday\, July 27\, to see the film. Treats will be provided.
