Sewing
Learning From Each Other
We are sewing bridges between our Spanish- and English-speaking parishioners. Our group of 8-10 women sew together once or twice a month on Saturday mornings. Experienced sewers help the beginners with projects, and the time together always ends with prayer. We have made pajama pants, pillow cases, pillow shams and other projects. As the sewers get more experienced, they bring their own projects to work on.
Newcomers are always welcome, whether you are a beginner wanting to learn how to sew or an old hand who would like to share your talent with others.
We are also always looking for donations of fabric and other sewing items.
If you have something you think we might be able to use or would like more information about joining the group, please email Judy Romanowich Smith or call (612) 424-6207.
